I have learned over the years as a writer I have to let my mind rest.  Especially in environments like social media.                            

I don’t create “content”. I produce writing that can land and hopefully allows people to think.

Due to this I like to take time out from writing during my youngest child’s school holidays. To recoup, ground myself and generally fill myself back up. It’s important we take these moments for ourselves.  But I also do it for my family.

I will be absent on here for a few days now. As a family we have some fun days planned. New experiences always bring new thoughts and feelings to my neurodivergent brain.               I’m now in a place where I allow to put myself first and it feels wonderful.

I will enjoy this time with my family unapologetically. I hope if you are able to, you take some you time too.
